Taking responsibility. Shaping the future.
The Heimerer Group is officially committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Friedrich Heimerer (Managing Director Academy), Anja Roudiere (Chairwoman of the Heimerer Foundation) and I have signed the joint commitment. This sends a clear signal: Education is the key to a sustainable, fair and healthy future.
Our contribution to selected UN goals:
Health and well-being (Goal 3):
Our students are trained to become qualified professionals who pass on health literacy and resilience. Prevention and psychosocial health are an integral part of everyday school life.
High-quality education (Goal 4):
We offer practical, individual training in the healthcare sector - supported by modern teaching methods, digital equipment and personal development programmes. We actively promote lifelong learning through a wide range of continuing education programmes.
Gender equality (Goal 5):
We live a non-discriminatory learning culture, actively address gender roles and are committed to equality and diversity - including as part of the "School without Racism" network.
Partnerships for the goals (Goal 17):
Through cooperation with clinics, care facilities, educational networks and international partners - e.g. as part of EU projects - we shape sustainable education across borders.
At Heimerer, we are convinced that sustainability begins with education. Every training programme is a step towards a better future.
