The Saxony-wide “SchauRein!” days took place from 9 to 14 March 2026. As part of this career guidance initiative, pupils from across Saxony visit various companies and organisations to gain an insight into different career fields and gain their first practical experience.
Our schools in Leipzig, Oschatz, Döbeln and Dresden also welcomed many visitors during these days, with 100 of them visiting the Heimerer Schools in Leipzig alone. The various departments presented their training programmes and provided an overview of the content, requirements and career prospects of the respective professions.
The “SchauRein!” Day was a valuable experience for everyone involved. Those interested gained a realistic impression of various training pathways, whilst our dedicated students had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and demonstrate their training through practical exercises. This allowed visitors to get hands-on and try out typical tasks from the respective departments. These practical insights clearly demonstrated just how diverse and interesting the training programmes at our Heimerer Schools are.
All in all, it was a successful day that provided many exciting insights into the world of work. Thank you for your interest, thank you for your curiosity, thank you for coming!
