This is my preparation for the recognition procedure in healthcare and nursing
Would you like to work in healthcare and nursing in Germany, but have completed your vocational qualification in another country? As the content of vocational training can vary greatly internationally, your training must be recognised in Germany.
If significant differences between your training and German training are identified (“assessment notice”), you can compensate for these missing contents with an adaptation period or a knowledge or aptitude test. You will receive all the important information about the procedure in a consultation and it will be clarified which procedure is best suited to you.
If you fulfil the following requirements, you will receive approval for this preparatory course:
- Notification from the responsible authority
- B2 German certificate
- Preliminary interview and decision in favour of the knowledge/aptitude test or the
Adaptation period
Fees
In order to provide you with the best possible service, we continuously adapt to the requirements of the government to carry out the recognition. Please note that information on the dates and costs of the adaptation course and examinations may change and are assessed on an individual basis. We therefore ask for your flexibility and understanding should such changes occur. You will of course be informed in good time.
Exam fee from 250,00€; The fees are based on the examination fees set by the responsible government authority. (Fees as well as travel and accommodation costs can be reimbursed 100% by the Federal Employment Agency).
