Training as a nursing assistant provides a good basisfor acareer start or further training. Practical content plays a major role at the vocational college. Your teachers explain the material in a practical and understandable way. They use modern teaching methods so that you enjoy learning. You develop specialist knowledge and skills for your future work in nursing and can consolidate and expand your general knowledge . The teachers support you in this and also offer tutoring, for example. Interpersonal interaction plays a major role in training to become a nursing assistant. Training combines theory and practice
Your training is a good mix of theory and practice. During your internship, you will gain a comprehensive insight into inpatient and outpatientfacilities for elderly care, nursing care and care for the disabled. We work together with numerous facilities in and around Leipzig and can offer you many opportunities for a work placement. Our modern school building has bright classrooms for theoretical lessons and two nursing rooms for practising practical skills. The walls are beautifully designed to create a friendly atmosphere. A cafeteria as well as drinks and snack vending machines cater for physical well-being. The school is easy to reach by public transport thanks to its location close to the centre of Leipzig.
