Would you like to work in healthcare and nursing in Germany, but have completed your vocational qualification in another country? As the content of vocational training can vary greatly internationally, your training must be recognised in Germany.
If significant differences between your training and German training are identified ("notice of deficit"), you can compensate for this deficit with an adaptation period or a knowledge test. You will receive all the important information about the procedure, the course and the examination in a counselling interview. The consultation will clarify whether an adaptation period or a knowledge test is more suitable for you.
This preparatory course prepares you for the recognition procedure in nursing. The course is suitable for people who have to take a knowledge test or aptitude test or complete an adaptation period. After a detailed counselling interview, you will receive confirmation of your participation in this preparatory course. The prerequisite for admission to the course is the B2 German language examination.
Funding via education voucher from the employment agency or job centre (according to SGB II or III), but also possible via pension insurance providers and BFD.
Please enquire with your case manager about your personal funding options. If you fulfil the requirements, the course fees and any other costs will be covered.
