If your foreign professional qualification in physiotherapy is not directly recognised in Germany, Heimerer 's recognition qualification will prepare you comprehensively for your work as a physiotherapist in Saxony .

As the content of vocational training can vary greatly internationally, your physiotherapy training must be recognised in Germany.

If significant differences between your training and German training are identified ("assessment notice"), you can compensate for these missing contents with an adaptation period or a knowledge or aptitude test. You will receive all the important information about the procedure in a counselling interview and it will be clarified which procedure is best suited to you.

If you fulfil the following requirements, you can continue with the recognition procedure:

• Assessment notice from the KSV
• B2 language level reached or almost reached
• Preliminary interview and decision in favour of the knowledge/aptitude test or the adaptation period

In order to provide you with the best possible service, we continuously adapt to the requirements of the government in order to carry out the recognition. Please note that information on the dates and costs of the adaptation course and examinations may change as a result. We therefore ask for your flexibility and understanding should such changes occur. You will of course be informed in good time.

Costs for theory lessons depending on the scope of the assessment notice: Examination fee from €300.00; depending on the specified examination requirements (fees as well as travel and accommodation costs can be reimbursed 100% by the job centre/the Federal Employment Agency).
