Career prospects
The Socio-Pedagogical Introductory Year (SEJ) serves as an introduction to training as an educator.
Due to the importance of early childhood education and the expansion of all-day programmes, the demand for educators will continue to grow.
Admission requirements
- Secondary school leaving certificate/secondary school leaving certificate
- Sufficient knowledge of written and spoken German (at least level B2)
You will be informed of other specific entry requirements during the interview.
Training structure
The Socio-Pedagogical Introductory Year (SEJ) is divided into theoretical lessons and the practical part in a socio-pedagogical institution in the Munich S-Bahn area. You will receive a training allowance for this practical work.
Your lessons at the school take place from 08:00 - 15:00.
